We have a very good range of new boats in stock. These include Boston Whalers (190 Montauk, 150 Montauk and 13 SuperSport), Ribeye (the new range of aluminium hulled small RIBs), Avon (410 Adventure, 340 Rover RIB), Terhi (4110) and a good range of dinghies. We have the full range of Yamaha small engines in stock. Please do call to arrange a viewing.

cancer outreach project
We are supporting a large fund-raising exercise to provide cancer outreach support in Kingsbridge. There is a gala fundraising dinner on 31st July, 2010 and tables (of 8 people) are available from Tristan Stone on 01548 844122. SPACES LEFT FOR 20th JULY PASSAGE DAY!!
Although we didn't make it to Newton Ferrers on 7th May, all who came had a good time. We completed several
seamanship evolutions in the Range and then headed to the King's Arms for lunch! Next dates are 20th July (Dartmouth)
and 18th August (Dartmouth). We can take up to 10 boats - first come first served...so please book in early with the
office on 01548 843838.
sprucing up your tubes
If your RIB or inflatable tender tubes are looking dull, patchy or just plain tired it will most probably be sun damage to blame. Ultra violet light damages the colour pigment in the material and even just one season on the water will have an effect. In conjunction with manufacturers we have developed a very effective treatment service which will bring your tubes right back up to scratch. This involves a good deal of elbow grease, chemicals and finally the application of a UV protectorant which will preserve the tubes after the cleaning service.
This service costs £42 per metre (inc. VAT) for the full clean up and £12 per metre for an annual UV protectorant renewal once the full clean up has been done. Please let us know if you would like this done.
rib charter
We have 2 boats (both Ribeye 600 A Series) available this year. These boats will be available for charter through our Tucker's Boat Hire business. They are MCA coded and able to operate up to 20 miles from Salcombe. Bookings are strong as this is an excellent way to enjoy a top quality RIB on your holiday without the cost of ownership. We thought you might like to know about a new food company operating in Salcombe. Celebrity Chef Lesley Waters and her team at /The Green Table/ presently offer a Home Delivery Service and are launching Picnics this year, ideal for a day out on the boat with family and friends!
